Education

There are also good opportunities to include courses in other areas and a study period abroad.

Examination

There are no set examination periods, and generally no final exam at the end of a semester, an academic year, or a complete study programme. Examination usually takes place at the end of each course, module, or unit.

Professional contact

Throughout the programme students have contact with external guest lecturers and partner companies. Degree projects are normally carried out in conjunction with one or several companies or other organisations.

Degree

Upon completion of the programme a Degree of Master of Science in Industrial Management 120 ECTS cr. is awarded. For examination and assessment regulations, see under the heading "Learning outcomes" in the programme study plan.

Employment market

Master graduates are qualified to work with logistics and production control, business development and marketing, service production, financial control, management, organisation and social trend analysis. They have a solid foundation in technology, natural sciences, and mathematics, as well as the ability to cooperate and communicate. Their competencies are useful in many technical areas, especially in areas that also require creativity, leadership, and a holistic approach.

Further studies

Studies at the advanced level make you eligible for doctoral studies in, for instance, Business Administration. The subject in which your doctor's degree will be awarded will depend on your previous studies. You also need to meet the prerequisites for doctoral studies of the subject chosen.
